SIAMS Inspection 2017 - Outstanding

Our last SIAMs inspection was in October 2017, which is where the inspection team look at the whole school as a church school and comment on the four areas of:

                         1) Church distinctiveness

                         2) Leadership

                         3) Collective Worship

                         4) Curriculum and RE teaching

The last time we were inspected was November 2012 and the school had been judged as 'good' in all four areas and overall. We are delighted that in 2017, the inspector judged that Christ Church CofE Junior school was outstanding overall as well as in each of the four areas. For more details, please read the report below (the main report feeds back on areas 1-3 and then extra report feeds back on area 4).

2020 and 2021 Data

The 2019/20 and 2020/21 national curriculum assessments did not take place due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The following assessments were cancelled:
•    end of key stage 1 and key stage 2 assessments (including tests and teacher assessment)
•    phonics screening check
•    multiplication tables check
•    science sampling tests
•    all statutory trialling

As there were no formal assessments in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 academic years, schools do not need to provide assessment data for this period.
